For an active leak, call promptly and describe the situation. Avoid standing water near electrical equipment. If you know how to safely use the property’s accessible water shutoff, stopping the supply may limit further water loss. Do not force a damaged valve or take risks to reach it.
Signs worth investigating
Visible dripping at a fixture, valve, supply connection, or pipe; unexplained water use; dampness that returns after drying; a toilet that keeps refilling; or a suspected leak below a slab or along a service line all deserve attention.

An accessible isolated failure may allow a focused repair. A difficult-to-reach line, repeated failures, or a larger piping problem may justify comparing rerouting or repiping. Both starting packages furnish and install up to 3 feet of 1/2- to 3/4-inch non-metallic water piping: PVC, CPVC or PEX as appropriate to the existing system. Materials and installation labor are included. Copper, larger pipe sizes and other repair types have different pricing.
Exposed repair scope
The $355 package applies to accessible piping. Excavation, drywall removal and piping beyond the included 3 feet are additional.
Concealed repair scope
The $650 package includes soil excavation or drywall removal to reach the pipe. After the repair is tested, excavated soil is backfilled to rough grade. Drywall, plaster and landscaping restoration are your responsibility; we try to save and reinstall existing sod as a courtesy.
The repair length is estimated before work begins. Additional piping and changes in scope or price require your approval before extra work. These repair packages are separate from the detection starting prices above; confirm diagnostic work and any other access or restoration needs in your estimate.
Gulfview covers the work and materials furnished and installed in these packages for 2 years residential or 1 year commercial. Existing plumbing and customer-supplied items are excluded. Manufacturer coverage has separate terms.
The estimate depends on diagnosis, access, materials, equipment, the extent of the work, and applicable permit or code requirements. We will discuss the proposed scope before you decide how to proceed. GreenSky financing may be available for qualifying projects, subject to credit approval and applicable terms.
Ask which diagnostic work is included, what happens if further access is needed, and whether wall, floor, or landscape restoration is part of the estimate. A plumbing repair does not automatically include water-damage restoration.
Qualifying materials furnished by Gulfview carry a two-year residential parts and labor warranty. A one-year commercial warranty applies where applicable. Customer-supplied materials are excluded, and drain cleaning does not carry a warranty. Ask which terms apply to the work in your estimate.

Can a toilet leak without water on the floor?
