Start with your water and your goals
Tell us your water source, any existing treatment equipment, and whether the concern is scale, taste, odor, system performance, or a test result. A water-quality assessment helps define the next step. A basic hardness check is not a comprehensive safety test; some concerns require a certified laboratory and specific sampling methods.
The CDC recommends selecting treatment for the substances you actually need to address. Appearance and taste alone cannot establish water safety. Review your utility’s water-quality report and verify the selected product’s specific reduction claims.
Water softeners
A water softener treats hardness minerals that contribute to scale. We help you choose equipment for your household water use, installation space and maintenance needs. Softening and filtration do different jobs: a softener does not remove every contaminant. Includes a 9 x 48-inch mineral tank with 1 cu. ft. of resin, separate brine cabinet, control head, supplied salt, installation to accessible existing piping, programming, startup and testing. Whole-house filtration
Whole-house equipment treats water as it enters the home. The filter media and model determine what it is designed to reduce. We can discuss your goals, existing plumbing, service flow, and replacement-media needs before recommending equipment.
Sediment canister filter
Starting at $1,050 installed.
Includes a heavy-duty 4 x 10-inch housing and one compatible sediment cartridge on the main water supply, materials, installation labor, accessible mounting, connections, startup flushing, and operation and leak checks. The selected cartridge captures sediment such as dirt, sand and rust particles according to its rating; this is not the same as carbon filtration or softening.
Carbon-block canister filter
Starting at $1,095 installed.
Includes a heavy-duty 4 x 10-inch housing and one compatible carbon-block cartridge, materials, installation labor, mounting with cartridge-change access, connections, flushing, startup, and operation and leak checks. Chlorine taste and odor reduction depends on the selected cartridge specifications.
20-inch canister options
20-inch sediment and carbon-block canister options are also available.
The starting prices above are for the 4 x 10-inch systems; larger 4 x 20-inch options are quoted separately. These canister prices are not larger tank-system package prices. Housing and cartridge selection must match the existing plumbing, pressure and flow needs. Extra work and final suitability are reviewed before approval. Supplied materials and installation carry two-year residential or one-year commercial coverage; existing plumbing, fixtures, valves and customer-supplied items are excluded. Clack 9 x 48-inch whole-home carbon filter

The Clack WS1 carbon filtration system includes a 9 x 48-inch mineral tank with 1 cu. ft. of catalytic carbon, control valve, digital control head with battery backup, bypass valve and protective tank cover. Materials, installation labor, standard plumbing connections, programming, startup and an operation check are included. It is designed to help reduce chlorine and associated taste and odor; suitability and results depend on water conditions and system selection. This is a carbon filter, not a water softener.
Twin-Tank System: softener and filter installed together
Clack WS1 Twin-Tank System: starting at $4,295 installed.
This package pairs a 9 x 48-inch water softener with a separate 9 x 48-inch catalytic-carbon filter, each with 1 cu. ft. of treatment media. The softener reduces hardness; the filter helps reduce chlorine and associated taste and odor. Here, Twin-Tank means one softener plus one filter, not two alternating softener tanks.
Includes a separate 14 x 14 x 36-inch brine cabinet, Clack WS1 control heads with battery backup, protective tank covers, gravel support bed, 150 lb. of salt, materials and installation labor. We connect to accessible existing piping, program and start the system, and check operation and leaks. Salt is added to available capacity and any remaining supplied salt is left with you. System sizing depends on your water quality and expected use.
The paired system requires a properly installed GFCI-protected outlet with a weatherproof cover within 10 ft. of the installation. Arrange a licensed electrician if needed; temporary power and extension cords are not suitable. Both the standalone Clack filter and paired package carry two-year residential or one-year commercial coverage on supplied equipment and installation; existing components and customer-supplied items are excluded. Manufacturer terms are separate. Extra work is reviewed in the estimate before approval.
UV water-treatment systems are also available
Ask Gulfview about UV options, including Viqua systems, when disinfection is part of your water-treatment needs. Ultraviolet light is used to disinfect water or reduce germs; it does not replace softening or chemical-removal treatment. Pre-filtration matters: the CDC explains that UV systems work better with pre-filtration. Selection should follow your water-test results and the specific model’s treatment claims, not appearance or taste alone.
VIQUA VH410 whole-home UV system furnished and installed: starting at $1,850. Includes the stainless-steel chamber, UV lamp, quartz sleeve, controller, mounting hardware and installation labor, connection at the agreed location, leak and controller checks, and a routine-maintenance walkthrough.
The selected system must suit your incoming water quality, required treatment flow and pretreatment needs. Additional pretreatment or electrical work is reviewed and priced separately before proceeding. Follow the manufacturer’s lamp-replacement and sleeve-care instructions. UV is not included in the Clack or canister starting prices above. Request a water-treatment assessment.
Reverse osmosis
Considering a dedicated drinking-water faucet? Gulfview installs and maintains reverse-osmosis systems, including their filters and membranes. We review the space and connections at your sink and help you compare the specific system’s certified reduction claims. Capabilities vary by model.
Reverse-osmosis starting prices
Four-stage RO system with chrome dispenser faucet: starting at $1,395. Includes Gulfview-furnished equipment, standard tubing and fittings, installation labor, water and drain connections, startup, and operational and leak testing at the designated sink. Alkaline filtration, five-stage configurations, and specialty upgrades are additional when selected.
Compatible four-stage filter and membrane replacement: starting at $495. Includes a sediment prefilter, carbon prefilter, RO membrane, and final polishing filter, with replacement materials and labor, removal of old elements, accessible connection inspection, flushing, startup, and operation and leak checks.
RO sanitization with filter service: starting at $325, in addition to the filter or membrane replacement service. Includes cleaning and sanitizing accessible system components, sanitation materials and labor, flushing, and operation and leak checks. Replacement filters and membrane are a separate service, not included in the sanitization price.

Keep your system maintained
Keep up with the care your system needs, from replacement filters and salt to media changes and sanitization. We can discuss maintenance costs and service access alongside installation options. If your current system is overdue for service, maintenance may be the next step rather than a full replacement.
Cost and coverage
The estimate depends on diagnosis, household demand, equipment, existing plumbing, access, materials, and applicable permit or code requirements. We discuss the proposed scope before you decide how to proceed. GreenSky financing may be available for qualifying projects, subject to credit approval and applicable terms.
Qualifying materials furnished by Gulfview carry a two-year residential parts and labor warranty. A one-year commercial warranty applies where applicable. Customer-supplied materials are excluded, and drain cleaning does not carry a warranty. Ask which terms apply to the work in your estimate.
Do I need both a softener and a filter?
Not necessarily. They address different goals. We can review the concern, water information, and equipment options before recommending a combination.
Can a system remove everything from the water?
Do not rely on an all-purpose claim. Different treatment methods have different capabilities. Ask for the specific model’s performance documentation and maintenance requirements.
