St. Petersburg sewer-lateral program: check approval first
The City of St. Petersburg publishes a Private Lateral Rehabilitation Rebate Program for eligible single-family properties in its wastewater service area. Its current guidance requires an official City approval letter before scheduling a lateral inspection or proceeding with rehabilitation work under the program. An intake form alone is not approval and does not guarantee funding.
Use the City’s address lookup, application information, and checklist to confirm eligibility, current funding, and required documents. Contractor registration requirements also apply. Verify the contractor’s current eligibility with the City before arranging program work; a Florida plumbing license alone does not confirm participation in this particular program. Gulfview does not decide eligibility or guarantee a rebate.
