Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 26, 2026

Gulfview Plumbing & Water Treatment provides plumbing and water treatment services. This notice explains how information is handled when you contact us, request service, or use our website.

Information you provide

Employment applications: When you apply through our website, you provide contact details, your city and state, the work you are interested in, availability, relevant experience, and any training or qualifications you choose to include. You may also attach an optional resume. We use this information to review your application and contact you about employment. Applications and attached resumes are emailed to John Wear, who primarily handles hiring. Gulfview Plumbing management has access to employment applications. Please do not submit Social Security numbers, bank details, identification documents or medical information through the form or your resume.

When you request an appointment through our ServiceTitan booking system, the form asks for your name, phone number, email address and property address. You may also give us details about the plumbing problem or service you need when you contact our office.

Our service records in ServiceTitan include job descriptions, estimates, invoices, appointment history, service notes, job photographs or videos, and records of customer communications. Invoice records also include payment amounts, dates, payment methods and transaction status. These records document requested services, findings, proposed or completed work, communications and billing.

Payment processing and payment information

Gulfview Plumbing & Water Treatment uses authorized third-party payment processors to securely process customer payments. Gulfview does not independently store full credit/debit card numbers or sensitive payment credentials outside of its authorized payment and service-management systems. Payment information is used only as necessary to process authorized transactions, maintain appropriate business records, address disputes, and comply with applicable legal and accounting requirements.

Customer job photos

Gulfview may take photographs or videos in connection with providing, documenting, estimating, or verifying plumbing services. Before using identifiable customer, property, or personally identifying information for public marketing purposes, Gulfview will obtain appropriate permission. Whenever reasonably possible, publicly used job photographs will be limited to the work performed and will exclude or obscure customer names, addresses, documents, license plates, faces, and other identifying information. Non-identifying photographs of plumbing equipment, components, installations, or completed work may be used for legitimate business, educational, portfolio, or marketing purposes where permitted by law.

Phone calls

Gulfview may record incoming and outgoing business calls for documentation, customer service, quality assurance, training, dispute resolution, and other legitimate business purposes. When calls are recorded, appropriate notice will be provided as required by applicable law. Recordings are accessible only for legitimate business purposes and are not sold for advertising purposes. A customer who does not wish to participate in a recorded telephone conversation may request to discontinue the call and communicate with Gulfview through another available method, such as text message or email.

Call recordings are stored with ServiceTitan and our current phone provider, Centratel. Gulfview Plumbing management has access to these recordings. Employees may also access recordings as necessary for their work, including recordings attached to the relevant job for review.

Text messages and email

Gulfview communicates by text message and email. We send appointment texts and service reminders for maintenance items recorded in a customer’s service file. Customers who submit an online appointment request receive an email acknowledgement explaining that the appointment is pending office confirmation.

Gulfview sends text messages to customers who provide their telephone number and consent to receive communications, including communications associated with inquiries, appointments, requested services, estimates, service updates, maintenance reminders, and other permitted business communications. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing services. Customers may reply STOP to opt out of applicable text messages and HELP for assistance. Opt-out requests will be honored in accordance with applicable requirements, although certain non-marketing communications may still be sent when legally permitted or necessary to provide requested services. Customers may unsubscribe from marketing emails using an available unsubscribe method or by contacting Gulfview directly. Gulfview will honor valid email opt-out requests as required by applicable law.

Our online appointment-request tool is provided through ServiceTitan. We use SMTP2GO to deliver email generated by our website, including employment application notifications and their resume attachments. Retention and security

Gulfview does not currently have a fixed deletion schedule for call recordings or unsuccessful employment applications and resumes. Retention needs depend on the type of record, its business purpose, and applicable legal requirements. Relevant purposes may include service and warranty matters, hiring and employment recordkeeping, and resolving disputes. Records may need to be preserved longer when required by law or in connection with a claim, investigation or legal hold. For questions about retention or to request deletion, contact chrissywear@gulfviewplumbing.com. A deletion request does not guarantee immediate deletion; applicable legal requirements and legitimate recordkeeping needs may limit what can be deleted.

Questions and requests

For privacy questions or requests, email chrissywear@gulfviewplumbing.com. You may also call 727-662-2550 or write to Gulfview Plumbing & Water Treatment, 3861 68th Ave N, Pinellas Park, FL 33781.

Privacy requests will be reviewed and handled in accordance with applicable law. Gulfview may take reasonable steps to verify the identity and authority of the person making a request before providing, correcting, or deleting information. Requests and Gulfview’s responses may be documented for security, compliance, and business-record purposes.

Personal information that Gulfview is no longer required or reasonably needs to retain will be securely deleted, destroyed, anonymized, or otherwise disposed of using methods appropriate to the nature of the information and the systems in which it is maintained. Gulfview does not represent that all information is retained for a specific fixed period; retention may vary based on business, warranty, accounting, tax, insurance, contractual, dispute-resolution, and legal requirements.

Updates

Gulfview may update its Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in its practices, services, technology, or legal requirements. The current version will be posted on Gulfview’s website and will identify its effective date or last-updated date. When Gulfview makes a material change that warrants additional notice, Gulfview may provide notice through the website, email, text message, or another reasonable method, as appropriate.
