Buying a New Faucet? Compare the Fixture and Installation Together

You find a faucet you love, check the price and start picturing it in your kitchen. Before you hit the checkout button, there’s one more number to consider: what will it cost to have it installed?

Comparing the faucet and installation together can save confusion later. We can furnish and install a fixture for you, or help install one you’ve already bought. Here’s how those options differ.

Compare the complete faucet installation

Our furnished-and-installed faucet options start at $415 for a bathroom faucet and $425 for a kitchen faucet. Those examples include specific fixtures: a chrome Moen Adler or comparable two-handle bathroom faucet for a compatible 4-inch-center, three-hole setup, with a pop-up drain and braided supplies; or a chrome Moen Banbury two-handle kitchen faucet with a separate side spray, using compatible existing openings and supplies.

The details matter because a faucet that fits one sink may not fit another. Your model choice, access beneath the sink and any extra plumbing work can affect the total. The service page explains what’s included, and your estimate should make clear what applies to your installation.

Already have a faucet?

That’s fine, too. Installation of one applicable, standard customer-supplied kitchen or bathroom faucet starts at $325, not including the faucet itself. Premium and widespread fixtures have separate installation pricing.

Send us the model information before scheduling. It’s easier to talk through the fit and connections before installation day than to discover a mismatch with the old faucet already coming out.

Before you buy, take a look under the sink

  • Existing sink or countertop openings, faucet spacing and available clearance.
  • Whether the chosen model uses a separate spray, drain assembly or other components.
  • Condition and accessibility of the shutoff valves and supply connections.
  • Old-fixture removal, connection work, testing and any separately quoted modifications.

What happens if you need help later?

It’s worth knowing who handles what if something needs attention later. Gulfview-furnished work and materials carry a two-year residential or one-year commercial warranty. Existing plumbing and customer-supplied products are excluded from that materials coverage, and manufacturer terms are separate.

If you’re supplying the faucet, ask us about installation workmanship and check the product warranty as well. They cover different things.
